Kau pun hanyut dalam arus air..
rambutmu basah.
pakaianmu lembab..
bibirmu sudah kehilangan warna..
tapi kedua tanganmu tak henti meratap..
dengan lagu..
ah,
beberapa lagu yang menguar dikaca besar..
matamu kulihat kian sendu,
tetapi, suaramu mengadu..
hendak mengajak ke taman..
dan dua tangan yang lain seperti tak ingin merenggang,
sebab angin samudra akan datang diluar ruang kota yang lain..

kau tahu malam ini penghabisan..
cuma beberapa jam lagi setelah dikurangi basa basi dan perjalanan kita tadi..
sebab itu lupakan langkah silam atau esok siang akan berpisah,
lalu jadikan tangan ini sebagai perahu yang mengayuhkan segala tubuh..

HISTORY OF JAKARTA
In 1513 the first european fleet, four portuguese ships under the recomand of Alvin in sunda kelapa from Mallaca.  Malacca had been conquered two years  earlier by Alfonso d’Albuquerque. They were looking for species especially pepper, to this busy and well-organized harbor. Some years later, the portuguese  Enrique Leme visited Kalapa with presents for the king of sunda. He was well received and on August 21,1522 and signed a treaty of friendship between the kingdom of sunda and portugal. The portuguese received the right to build a godowon (warehouse) and to erect a fort in Kalapa. This was regarded by the sundanese as a consolidation of their posotion against the encroaching Mualim troops from the rising power of the sultabate od Demak in centraljava.
According to some historians, this victory of 1527 provided the reason for fatahillah to rename Sunda Kelapa , Jayakarta, which means “Great Deed” or ‘Complete Victory”. On the basis of this history on 22 June. 1527, the day Fatahillah gave the town a name of victory of over sundanese hindus and Portuguese sailor. And then the areas Menara Syahbandar was once the center of Kota Batavia. It was the center of trading network with wide spread agents reaching Deshima (Nagasaki) in Japan, Surate in Persia and Capetown in South Afrika. Inter-trade among Asia was more profitable than inter-trade between Asia and Europe. And the Pasar Ikan (Market Fish) once was the pulse. Here, the site where the origin f the capital of Indonesia, Jakarta, came from.


History of Daendels Road
De Grote Postweg is the name for the historical road that runs across Java that connect Anyer and Panarukan. It was built durinh the reign of governot-general of te Dutch East Indies Herman Williem Daendels (1808-1811). La Grande Route, as Deandels called it, was a military road which was laid down under the order of king Lodewijk Napoleon who ruled the Kingdom of Holland at the time. Daendels faced difficult condition in Dutch East Indies when he was starting the road contruction. Nicolaus Engelhard, who was a governor over most of Java and who had to give up his position to Daendels, stated that 500 workers had died in Megamendung are nearby Buitenzorg (the present name of Bogor), excluding the number of people who died as the result of illness. Furthermore Engelhard critized Daendels of the thousand ofcasualities resulting from the road construction in the woods of Waleri in Pekalongan region.
Today the Java Great Post Road consits the most parts of present Java North Coast Road (Indonesia : Jalan Pantura, abbreviation Pantai Utara). However the original post road is run through Preanger (Priangan, West Java) highland. From Meester Cornelis (Jatinegara) went south to Buitenzorg (Bogor), and went east Cianjur, Bandung, Sumedang and Cirebon. The current north coast road runs through coastal northern West Java which built later after the construction of Daendels’ post road. It connect Bekasi, Karawang, Pamanukan and Cirebon. The road originally ran from Anyer, present day Banten but formerly West Java to Panarukan, East Java but later was extebded to Bnyuwangi. In its current from the java main road extends through five provinces : Banten. DKI Jakarta, West Java, Central Java and East Java.

History of Catfish’ statue Into The Clock In Bekasi
Every country or city has charateristic’ statue to know the name of that city like Jogja, Surabaya and so much more. Bekasi has a famous’ statue, the name is Catfish’statue which the statue is located in Bulan-Bulan. The statue is catfish-shaped with kecapi fruit. This statue is made by citizen because it has a strategy location and the citizen always use Catfish’statue as street directory to explain to the people who dont know the location in Bekasi. Catfish’statue was bulit in 1955. Catfish’statue was bulit when the governor was Moch.Djamhari but the citizen was thinking that the statue is irrelevant with what the citizen want for make icon of Bekasi. But the governor think catfish and kecapi fruit are productiv land in Bekasi until the governor think that both of them are good to be an icon.
But the citizen were thinking that both of them arent good to be an icon in Bekasi because the character of catfish is ravenous and if we sell that fish, the price is cheap, same with kecapi fruit so in their opinion catfish and kecapi fruit aren’e good to be icon. Finally the citizen make a protess to their governor but the governor never solve that problem. And in April,24 2002 some communities came to the catfish’statue and then they burned that statue. After that situation the citizen have some idea to make a new statue with new icon like gabus’fish and rambutan but when 2010 there was a quiz for that icon. Finally the icon changes into Clock, it calls “Jam Gadang”. Even Catfish’statue has changed into The Clock but Catfish’statue has made history for citizen of bekasi.
